Migration, Refugee and Immigration Services

At Catholic Charities, our mission to promote the dignity, self-sufficiency and human potential of those in need includes welcoming newcomers to our country.  With a variety of multicultural and multilingual services, Catholic Charities offers these new and future citizens support during the long process of adjusting to their new surroundings and becoming active participants in their communities.

Our services include Refugee Resettlement, Immigration Services, Employment Services, and English as a Second Language classes, as well as the unique International Threads and Immigrant and Refugee Artists Cooperative programs which bring together refugees and immigrants with exquisite artisan skills to preserve the artisans’ folk and traditional art skills while also providing them with the opportunity to acquire job skills and earn extra income to support their families through the sale of their artwork at local craft fairs and other venues.
