Please consider making a gift to our Annual Appeal at Christmas to support the children’s programs of Catholic Charities throughout Hartford, Litchfield and New Haven counties. Early learning programs, behavioral health counseling for children and after-school programs for youth are just some of the activities that your gift will support. Our mission is to provide help and create hope for our neighbors in need and your end-of-year gift will provide so many children with the opportunity to succeed both in school and later in life. The 11th annual Help & Hope Breakfast, held on December 9th at the Marriott Hartford Downtown, highlighted the F.R.E.E. (Fostering Responsibility, Education and Employment) program from our Youth Services Department. Webster Bank and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center were the Co-presenting Sponsors of the event and Archbishop Leonard P. Blair was the Guest of Honor. Irene O’Connor, Eyewitness News This Morning Weekday Anchor, served as Master of Ceremonies and Mr. John Motley, Principal, Motley Consulting, conducted the ‘Paddle Raise’ for the event. The proceeds of the annual breakfast go directly to support all of the Agency’s children’s programs throughout Hartford, Litchfield and New Haven counties, the three counties of the Archdiocese.
